In an effort to share their teachings, many elementalists have found that by aiding others, they are more want to listen. By attuning one's aura to a certain plane, inherant resistances can be increased to certain types of elemental forces. Other effects may be seen as well, but these depend on both the castor's skill and level. Unfortunately, the manipulations require the castor to be a non-involved 'anchor', which precludes you from sanctifying yourself.

If this rite works, the target gains a resistance to the element you are aligned with, and lesser resistances to adjacent elements on the diagram on the [[Elementalist Skills|skills]] page. If you sanctify another Elementalist, the target Elementalist gains small skill bonuses as well.

Failing this skill results in its [[Hex (Elementalist Rite)|opposite]] being cast in its place, though unlike Hex, you will not initiate combat.
