Part of standard Bard training is memorizing the various hymns associated with each deity throughout the realm. By performing these hymns to a target and gauging their reactions, a Bard can determine the alignment of the target.

At higher levels, the Bard is able to perform a hymn to a particular deity with such proficiency that the Bard's target audience will have a chance to shift its worldview.

An excellent skill, no matter your chosen usage. You can, for instance, use this to judge the reactions of another and determine their alignment, in
order to ensure that your actions serve the divinity that you wish to serve. Or, you can shift the ethos of others in order to ensure that you are able
to make use of alignment-specific gear (items can be destroyed if they are on a mob of wrong alignment at death) or to prevent your divinity from
expressing anger at the death of one of His or Her followers. This ability does not work on players, only mobs.
