 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; Just past midnight, on November 10, 1999, Astaria began searching the ocean when Alexia made a &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; post on the wizard board entitled &amp;#039;Rumors&amp;#039;.  It read as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         While one can overhear many a tale of ghost ships and ancient&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         shipwrecks during a brief stay at the Blushing Mermaid, it has&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         been only of late that an interesting rumor started to appear in&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         hushed conversations among seafarers.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         This rumor tells about the discovery of a very old ship that has&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         marooned on the shores of Astaria in a time long past. This ship&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         has all but disappeared from view, half-sunk into the water and&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         covered by sand through the years. However, according to some, a&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         way through the sand has been found, leading to the decks of this&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         ancient and mysterious vessel.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         While this rumor has not yet been confirmed, it does ring true.&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         It is well known that not all the ships traversing the Whispering&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         Sea were so lucky as to dock safely into their harbor of destiny,&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         and many were lost forever to the might of the sea. However,&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         another somewhat stranger, and rather unbelievable part of this&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         anecdote is that this ship, despite the eons forgotten beneath the&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         waters, is still inhabited, and by the phantoms of its former&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         crew, no less. While this unfounded rumor can be shrugged off as&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         an eccentricity, or even lunacy, of storytellers and drunkards,&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         this ancient ship may be of interest to those searching for&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;         treasure or interested in the old history of Astaria.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;

 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; After over 30 hours of scouring the 10000 square ocean, Kelesk and Tharak found it on Thursday&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; November 11, at 7:22:35 EST.  In the following days, it was scoured top to bottom.  Soon after &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; it&amp;#039;s discovery, Lloyd found what appears to be the strongest offhand weapon in the game in &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; it&amp;#039;s lower depths.  Called the &amp;#039;emerald dagger&amp;#039;, it is still being investigated today, under&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt; the suspicion that there is more to it than meets the eye.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;

 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;   From the entrance to the beach, proceed three east, 47 north.  Then &amp;lt;move boulder&amp;gt;, &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;   &amp;lt;dig hole&amp;gt; and a down exit should be revealed.  Proceed through it to enter the ship.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt;**&amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;Update on December 9, 1999&lt;br /&gt;

 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;                            Her loot (which is mostly crud) includes a tiny charcoal key (see B &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;                            on floor 3).&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;     FLOOR 5&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        If you go into the &amp;quot;trap&amp;quot; exit on floor 3, you will find yourself in a dusty attic.&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        In this room, you will find a chest, which (when it finally repops) will contain amonst &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        other worthless things, an emerald dagger.  This dagger, when sharpened has the potency&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        and accuracy of an Energy Crossbow!  Although you are free to leave the way you came, &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        it is faster, and often safer to use the secret tunnel.  If you &amp;lt;dig sand&amp;gt; in this room&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        you will reveal (and go through) a secret passage to the west.  Although this tunnel is &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        (as far as I know) not very interesting, if you go:&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;                   2w nw 2w 2nw w nw w nw w 4nw w 2n 2nw 2n ne s&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        You will find yourself in a room with a circle of rocks surrounding a pond, and a &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        platform in the middle of it.  If you &amp;lt;stand on platform&amp;gt;, you will be magically&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        transported one square east of the entrance to the beach.  Simply go west and up, and &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;        you will be on the south path.  This is certainly a faster way back to StarKeep.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
